Yumates was born from a simple but frustrating truth — hosting was becoming unfair.
As a traveler and a host, I saw how property owners were working hard, taking all the risk, yet losing a big part of their earnings to high commissions and rigid platform rules. On the other side, guests were paying more, but still struggling to find honest, comfortable stays.
The hospitality space was growing, but real people were being left behind.
I believed there had to be a better way.
The Problem I Saw
