Yumates Host Agreement

1. About Yumates

Yumates is a digital platform that enables property owners and authorized hosts to list, market, and manage short-term accommodation for guests. Yumates does not own, manage, or operate any listed properties.

2. Eligibility to Host

By registering as a Host, you confirm that:

• You are 18 years or older
• You are the legal owner or authorized representative of the property
• You have the legal right to list and rent the property
• The property complies with local laws, housing regulations, and tax rules

3. Property Listings

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
• Upload real and recent photographs
• Clearly mention house rules, guest limits, amenities, and restrictions
• Keep pricing, availability, and calendar updated

Yumates reserves the right to edit, suspend, or remove listings that are misleading or violate platform standards.

4. Bookings & Guest Stays

• All bookings must be made through the Yumates platform
• Off-platform payments or direct bookings are not permitted

You are responsible for:

• Cleanliness
• Check-in / check-out coordination
• Guest support during the stay

Yumates is not responsible for guest behavior but may assist in dispute resolution.

5. Host Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Maintain the property in safe, clean, and habitable condition
• Provide essential safety measures (fire extinguisher, exits, etc.)
• Respect guest privacy
• Respond to guest communication in a timely manner
• Handle complaints professionally

6. Pricing, Payments & Fees

• Hosts set their own pricing
• Yumates may charge a service fee to guests
• Any host fees (if applicable) will be clearly communicated
• Payouts will be processed as per Yumates payout schedule

7. Cancellations

• Hosts should avoid cancellations except in genuine emergencies
• Repeated cancellations may result in penalties or delisting
• Cancellation policies must be clearly stated in the listing

8. Taxes & Legal Compliance

You are solely responsible for:

• Declaring income earned via Yumates
• Paying applicable taxes (GST, local taxes, etc.)
• Obtaining licenses or permits if required

Yumates does not provide tax advice.

9. Insurance & Liability

• Yumates does not provide insurance
• Hosts are advised to maintain appropriate property and liability insurance
• Hosts are responsible for damages caused by guests

10. Platform Role & Disclaimer

Yumates:

• Is not a party to rental agreements
• Does not guarantee bookings or income
• Is not responsible for property loss or damage

The relationship between Host and Guest is independent of Yumates.

11. Reviews & Ratings

• Guests and Hosts may leave honest reviews
• Manipulating or forcing reviews is prohibited
• Yumates may remove abusive or fake reviews

12. Suspension & Termination

Yumates may suspend or terminate a Host account if:

• Platform rules are violated
• Fraud or illegal activity is detected
• Repeated guest complaints occur

Hosts may deactivate their account at any time.

13. Intellectual Property

All Yumates branding, content, and technology are the property of Yumates. Hosts may not misuse platform assets.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yumates shall not be liable for:

• Loss of income
• Property damage
• Guest disputes
• Indirect or consequential damages

15. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of India.
Jurisdiction shall lie with courts located in India.

16. Updates to Agreement

Yumates may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
